Our Services

Play Marin gets kids moving all year round! We remove the barriers to participation by providing coaches, covering league fees, arranging practices at convenient locations, and even supplying equipment like jerseys and shoes. We offer basketball, volleyball, track & field, and soccer. But that's not all! Play Marin also organizes clinics and special events for kids to try tennis, sailing, swimming, rowing, mountain biking, surfing, golf, lacrosse, and more! We believe in the power of exploration. By introducing kids to a variety of sports, different coaches, and teammates from across Marin County, we hope they'll develop a love for physical activity, teamwork, and collaboration.

As any working parent knows, summer can be a whirlwind. Juggling work schedules, childcare, and keeping kids entertained can feel overwhelming. Play Marin's summer camps take the stress out of any summer! Packed with exciting activities, from arts and crafts to sports and nature exploration, our camps provide a safe and nurturing environment for kids to blossom. They have the opportunity to make new friends, develop new skills, and discover hidden talents – all while having a blast, of course! Our debut! Camp Made4Me, a week-long sleepaway camp for Bay Area youth (5th-9th grade), launched this summer. Partnering with State Bags & East Oakland Youth Development Center, it brought camp magic to underfunded communities. Staffed by nationwide volunteers, it was pure summer fun!

Play Marin partners with local schools to bring the thrill of sports to youth after-school routine! We offer soccer, basketball, football and other physical education programs led by experienced coaches who focus on more than just athleticism. Our programs develop teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship while promoting overall fitness. Through engaging activities and expert mentoring, kids learn the fundamentals, build confidence, and have a blast with classmates in a safe, convenient environment – right at their own school!

Play Marin is all about building a strong community through fun activities and enriching experiences. Every December, we whisk the kids away to the Holiday Heroes event in San Francisco, where they get to make crafts, decorate cookies, receive gifts, and meet local heroes.  We take the kids on cinematic adventures, with iconic movies like Wakanda Forever. We also fuel their dreams by attending college and professional basketball games, where they get to cheer on inspiring athletes like Marin City Native, Darrion Trammell.  In 2023, we had an epic "Snow Day" complete with snowboarding and skiing lessons from the legendary pro skier Jonny Moseley! This year, made a trip to see the powerful Black History musical presented by SchoolYard Rap. At Play Marin, it's all about fostering friendships, exploring new possibilities, and opening doors to a wider world for the kids in Marin City.
